Getting started at Ruby Bingo is as simple as 1-2-3. We've designed this quick reference guide to take you through launching bingo on your computer, creating an account, selecting settings and most importantly, playing bingo.

Tutorials

For information about the different functions available in our software please refer to our Tutorials page

Launch Ruby Bingo

Playing at Ruby Bingo is simple. Just click any "Play Now" button to begin, or download our software to your computer by going through the short process on the Download page. we'll walk you through the sign up so you'll soon be playing bingo alongside hundreds of other roomies in some of the most exciting bingo games online.

Create an Account

If you are new to Ruby Bingo you will need to register with us. To do this simply click on "Create Account" once you have downloaded the software or clicked on "Play Now". You will then be asked to provide the following:
  • Your full name
  • e-mail address
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Currency of choice
  • Password
Once registration is complete, you will be sent an e-mail confirmation, which will also inform you of your username. Once you have received your username (it should be in your inbox within seconds of creating an account), click on "Play Now" or open the Ruby Bingo software and enter your username and password.

Select Settings

Ruby Bingo is ready to play as soon as you log in and have made a deposit, or collected your New Player Bonus, and you can customise the game to suit your own preferences if you wish. To do this, choose the game you want to play and within that screen click on "Options" on the top menu bar and choose "Settings". This will open the Bingo Settings window.
Within the Bingo Settings window, selecting the Bingo tab will give you the option to change the colour and shape of the bingo marker. It also allows you to turn on the Sort Tickets feature; this ensures that if you are playing with multiple tickets or strips the one which is closest to Bingo will always be at the top. You can also turn off animations here and opt for faster graphics – either of which may help if you are using an older computer, or if you feel that your game is running too slowly.
Select the Audio tab to adjust the sound volume, to choose a male or female caller or to turn sounds on or off.
If you have downloaded and installed the Ruby Bingo software there is a third tab called "Security". Here you can choose whether to enable the Auto-Login feature and if you would like the software to remember your password. If you only select "Remember Password" it will automatically enter your password but not log you in. If you select Auto-Login, both options will be enabled and the next time you start the game you will be automatically signed in.
Please note that you should only enable the Auto-Login feature if you are entirely certain that no unauthorised or under-age persons have access to your computer or to the game program.

Play Bingo

After logging in to Ruby Bingo you are taken to the lobby. Here you can see which bingo rooms are available and information on any ongoing games including details of prizes and jackpots, how many players are in chat and the name of the Chat Moderator (CM) on duty.
Click on the "Play" button and you will then enter a bingo room. To return to the lobby, simply hit the "Go To" button which you can find on the top menu in all of our bingo rooms.
Ruby Bingo has four rooms offering 90 ball bingo and 75 ball pattern bingo, "Barmy Club", "Velvet Lounge", "Royal Court" and "Cloud Nine". Details of each room are below.
In general, each has its own theme and its own chat room with a dedicated CM providing 24/7 entertainment.
It's no wonder that the Barmy Club is popular with so many bingo players. You can buy bingo tickets from as little as 5p and be in the running to win seriously BIG progressive jackpots on every 90 Ball Bingo game you play.
The Velvet Lounge has a character all of its own. Ticket prices start from as little as a penny, and there are four hours (open daily from 9AM til 1AM) of 90 ball speed bingo every day plus a weekly Adult Night.
90 Ball Bingo is also offered at Royal Court where massive jackpots are also going off and bingo card prices start at 10p. The Royal Court is open from Noon til 1AM daily. Topping it off is our £1000 guaranteed game, the Crown Jewel played daily at 10PM.

If 75 Ball Bingo is your game then Cloud Nine must be your destination of choice. Non-stop pattern bingo with minimum prizes of £20 during peak hours and ticket prices starting at just 5p, guarantee a heavenly experience.

Buy Tickets

There are a number of ways to buy bingo tickets but first you have to join the room where you want to play. The ticket-buying options for each room are only available within that room.

You can buy bingo tickets either with cash or with bonus money providing you have sufficient funds in your account. Your current cash and bonus balances are shown in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you need to fund your account, just click on the "Cashier" button and follow the instructions.

The simplest way to buy tickets is to select which tickets you want by clicking on each ticket or, in 90 Ball Bingo, by clicking on the strip selector at the top. Once you have selected your tickets, click on the "Buy Tickets" button and confirm your purchase. Tickets can also be selected by pressing the "+" or "-" symbols on the ticket counter. Any special offers for a particular game will be added automatically. For example, By One Get One Free - you will be notified when your next ticket is free.

If a game is in progress you will be shown tickets for the next game, which you can select and buy as described above.

There is an Auto-Buy feature which you can use to ensure that you don't miss any games. This can be activated by selecting "Options" and then "Auto-Buy" from the top menu. Simply enter the number of games you want to buy into and the number of tickets you want to buy for each game. You can set a maximum card price too. The system will then manage your card purchasing for you until you either leave the room or exit the game.

Once you have bought your tickets you can relax and join in the chat games because your tickets will be automatically daubed for you. Even if you leave the game, your winnings will be added to your account.

If you would like to buy tickets for specific scheduled games or for special promotions, select "Pre-Buy" from the top menu and choose "Future Games" or "Special Games". Click on the "Buy" button for the game of your choice then select and buy tickets in the normal way.

Mini-Games and Side Games

While your tickets are in play, you can choose to play from a range of side games. Just below the chat there are instant mini-games - scratch cards and slots – and these can be played with either cash or bonus money. If you play with cash, your winnings will be cash and if you play with bonus money, you will win bonus money.

There is also a wide range of fully-featured side games available from the list next to the mini-games. Clicking on any of these will open the side game in a new window so that you can enjoy all the features while still playing bingo. These side games can only be played for with cash, and will provide cash winnings where necessary.

Chat

The chat rooms at Ruby Bingo offer games and entertainment around the clock with the opportunity to win extra bonuses.

When you enter a room, you are automatically logged into chat and can take part just by typing in the space at the bottom of the chat window and clicking "Send" or the pressing the Enter key. You can add smileys or popular abbreviations by choosing from the icons. To see a list of players click on the Players tab, if you wish to enter private chat with one of them simply double-click on their name. You can open up to four private chat sessions simultaneously.

If the room is busy and you are looking for a friend, there is a search tool at the top of the player list which you can use to find them by their nickname instantly.
